Making a notebook

I have started making a notebook.  I have made the signatures.  The signatures are four sheets of paper folded in two.  I have made many.  So, I could do many notebooks, if I want.  I have folded the sheets of paper with a bone folder (here an example of a bone folder: http://www.amazon.ca/Books-Hand-Bone-Folder-Inch/dp/B0025U13HW/ref=wl_mb_wl_huc_mrai_3_dp

So, I am ready to do the next step.  It is to assemble the signatures together.  There are many ways.  I have to decide what I will do.  I can do as I have learned in my book repair class: up to 3 notches in the signature, put a thread in each notches, put some glue, put some bookcloth (what bookcloth look like: http://www.amazon.ca/Books-Bookcloth-University-Products-Inc/dp/B00M8OQCI0/ref=sr_1_10?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1427075298&sr=1-10&keywords=bookcloth), more glue and leave to dry.  Once dried, a cover made with cardboard, put some book binding tape inside the cardboard.  The corners was reinforced with tape and voilà!  The notebook was finished.  It is how I learned to do it.

I had seen some video on youtube on other techniques like the coptic stitche.  I also bought some books on the topic.  I am tempted to try a new technique but, on the other hand, I would like to refresh myself.  I could do both by separating the signatures in some piles.  I have enough for that.  So, I have to make some decision before going on.

Choices, not always easy to chooses...
