Unintended frosting but evolved by using

I stumbled on an interesting effect with a batch of soap.  It is with those that are «clear» and gemlike especially when using dye in them.  It is not a terrible result.  I just find it interesting that I haven't seen that earlier.  Here what I am talking about, in picture:
This one, above, is one soap unused.  It have a frosty effect to it.  It is nice on its own.  In addition, it goes well with the shape, it is a snowflake shape.

The one above is one soap that had been used once or twice.  The frosty effect is gone.  It is crystal clear.  Just by using, it change it's exterior.  Quite a contrast.  It is cool to see the frosting gone with use.  I will keep a eye if it happen again.  I haven't noticed that before and it makes me feel that I got sidetracked somewhere.  I would have like to see that sooner.
