It's good to have inspiration

I finally look at one of a video that I put on my watch it later list.  It is How to Wrap a Stone, with macrame:

It got me inspired.  It was the little extra look that I needed to get me on the right track.  I know macrame and I know about wire wapping.  Now, I clicked and it got me thinking.  I have a lot of ordinary stones.  For the biggest ones, I could use macrame.  For the smaller ones, I could use wire wrapping.  Of course, I will have to practice first.  I feel rusty in both thechniques.

I also found a video that I am curious because the end result seems nice.  It is the netting technique:

I would be interested to try it.  Will it look good?  Probably not on my first try.

There are many other videos that are along those lines.  Maybe I could try those techniques and also my own way and see what work best.  Seeing others doing a project is always eye opening.  It gives the option to put it on other uses or tweak up something entirely different.
