Hair clip

I have many book on jewelry making.  In one if them, there are projects that use material from the hardware store.  One of them was a hair clip with door hinge.  I adapted to what I have.  I took various dimension of door hinges.  Not too big because it won't stay in place.  to put them together, I took some macrame twine.  It look like this:

My mind started to work on variations.  I decided to use bolts.  Macrame twine work best.  I began to take short twine and makes knots but it doesn't work well  when glued to the hair clip.  So, a big length of macrame twine is best.  It look like this:

I had a lot of fun with the bolts.  I like the result.
