The hands as a tool

I use a lot my hand when creating.  They are my primary tools.  As with any tools, there may be some accidents or some damage.  Some wounds, especially when small or superficial cuts can heal fast.  Some others are longer to heal.  I recently damaged one of my nail:

I didn't lost the whole nail but it is uncomfortable, especially for the index finger

It is not as worst as losing the whole nail.  As a child, I lost one nail on one of my pinky finger.  It was a learning experience.  On the other hand, it was really sensitive. I was happy to have my nail back and that nail continuously grow.  It took some time to return to normal.

Now, I better take care more of my hands, at least protecting my hands when needed.
