Trees theme

I tried to capture a moment.  It is a nearby tree.  It was a moment where the tree seems to be a bit tired and there was rain.  I am also trying to take a picture of birds in this tree:

I haven't been much sucessful, in my opinion.  It would be a reason to add up to get another lens.  It is time and occasion where I would be able to focus more on my subjects.  It wasn't my first intention to get up close and personal but now, I start to feel more the urge to do so.  Time to focus!

It is a start--Sock making

I just have started to make an sock with the sock making loom.  I didn't took a photo of where I am at because I haven't made much.  But I photographed the content of the kit and the yarn I am using for the socks:

There is instruction to make the socks.  It is good because I have no idea how to do it.  As for any instruction, better go one step at a time: read one step and then do it then repeat.  I don't know if it will end up right.  It is me: I may worry while I do something for the first time.  I am not sure of myself in those moments.  It will be a bit easier for the second sock, I guess.  It is want happen usually.

Unusual finding, a book box

I found an box with a few book/magazine in it.  I wonder if we can put some books in there.  It is out of nowhere.  It is not a really in a high passing street.  It is even in a bucholic place:

The white sticker like part on top explain why that box is there.  It is in the memory of a person.  I am tempted to put a few books there and see if they will be picked up after that. I wonder why I haven't seen this place before.  In the past, I had many books that I wanted to donate.  I hate throwing books to the recycling bin.

Fowers

Sometimes, I found some flowers growing in strange places, like this one, near a fence:

I also wonder what kind of flowers they are.  They only grow at the end of the school year.  It don't last long either.  It is not a plant, it look more like an tree or a srub.  I wonder who put it there.  It seems to be there, hanging around since a while.

Finding a kit in a surprising place

I found a jewelry kit in a dollar store:

I show the front and the back of the packaging.  I didn't expected to find this in a dollar store.  I don't expect to be high quality either.  I am more curious to see if the components work together as promised on the packaging.  I don't have high hope with it.  I just hope it will be fun to assemble.

Finding another funny tree

I don't know if there is a sickness that affect trees but I found a tree that have a knob on his trunk.  This one look like being a nose:

I couldn't excape the idea of a mugshot.  So, I snap a photo in front and one from the side of the tree.  I wonder how this knob is made.  Doesn't seems to be an old cutted branch.  If it was a tree sickness, I wonder if there is a vaccine that can be administred to the tree.  Looking at it, I can see an alien-related joke that can come out of the tree.

Inverting a pegboard

I found a pegboard for fusible beads that can make easier to do people:

I inverted it to do a plant with it's container:

I am happy with the result.  It was easy to do and it look good.
