Rain change everything

While surrounded by vegetation and trees, I noticed that green look so much more vivid under rainy condition.

I think that the grey sky accentuate the green too.  It put a interesting twist to the landscape.  The trees tops look as if they are in the fog.  The various shade of green are even more apparent.  Until now, I thought that light and shades was worth the try to be captured on memory card.  Now, I think that rainy and cloudy condition could lead to some interesting photo too.

I am happy to have been able and quick thinking in taking a photo under the rain.  It won't win any photo competition but I have some satisfaction with this one.

Inside/Outside

Inside or outside and there is a change of perspective.  Here is the same window, one view from the outside and one from the inside.  Can get the idea it is two separate places:

Well the inside was maybe a little bit too dark but the window, on the inside is surrounded by shelves with books and knicknack.  So, both view are a bit different but the same at the same time.

Underground confidential

Nothing morbid here.  It is more about the line between vegetation and dirt/earth.  Here what I am talking about:

It look very separate on the photo.  I find it very interesting to see it in that way.  It look like looking things on the microscope.  No need to see a drawing on how this work, I can see it from my own eye, naturally.  Some small animals can go under the trees and have a place to stay.  I am sure there is some interesting lives that dwell there.

I can easily imagine a mythological world with mythological being living there too.  I know it would be only in my imagination.  Well, it can be the starting point for a new story...

Taking notice

Strange that some items goes unoticed and then, it pop up right into your face.  Well, it had happened recently to me.  I don't know if it can be seen on the photo:

Maybe other people will see other things than me.  Me, I saw some well hidden rocks that I haven't seen before.  They are on the line between the trees and the soil/ground/earth.  Looking at it, there is also a tree that seems to be unsure if it will fall down on the ground or not.  Making me think that the tree seems to fight for it's nutriment.

Well, trees seems to be a source of inspiration for me, I guess.  I seems to makes stories as I look at trees.

Rock the dolmen

Well, there are rocks that are just awesome, especially in their setting.  That rock was my favorite rock when I was younger.  Nature has it's way to shape the environment and it's content.  With some time, that rock would turn into a chair.  Maybe I may be imagining a bit too much.  I may seen something that no one else see.   I wonder what Michaelangelo could have done with this rock.  I doubt it is worth exploring but it is a nice practice brainstorm.

I think this photo is a success.  Well, I like the way it had turned out.  It is better than I have expected.  I think that adding flowers would be too much.  The grey of the stone sit well with the grass.  Maybe a vine?

Secret Passage

I know of a place that look like a secret passage:

I took the photo not from the right angle.  Well, I know there is a secret passage there.  It feel romantic.  It also feel like Alice in Wonderland.

 

I think that the theme of going from one world to another by a secret passage is worth exploring a bit more, creatively.  Well, getting near a forest was a good idea for inspiration...

The Let's Dance tree

I found another tree that I could name: the Let's Dance tree.  It is the trunk that have a bump.  It look like the tree is dancing.  Well, I may go on the poetic side a bit too easily.  I find it doesn't translated well on the photo:

As I saw this tree, I thought of a person instead, slightly bended from the knees.  Well, would be nice to see this tree dance and shake it's booty.  It was never shown in cartoon.  Would be fun to see, well, I would pay for that.  I find the idea funny.  Well, I don't know enough on cartoon to be 100% sure but the idea makes me smile.

The landscape that changed

An ancient little stream that got cut off from it's stream.  Only the remains remain in the landscape:

I found it nice to have some water there.  It made a nice sound.  It was not a permanent stream, only in springtime and rainy day.  It was also going under the street, as seen on the last photo.  Well, now, it will be good reference to use when describing a stream.

Crusty earth to vegetation

It is great to witness the power of vegetation.  It is surprising, too, that earth can turn crusty and it can let vegetation in.  Here what I am talking about in photo.  First, a barren batch, crusty earth:

Now, some vegetation, it seems to better hold the earth below.  I find amazing that those delicate greenery could pierce the crusty layer of earth:

Okay, there is also some plants too, on various heights.  Vegetation is strong.  I am tempted to write something on agressive plants and trees.  Would be a good horror movie!

Old common use, new decoration

Lantern was the only option in the old days.  Now, they decorate and it is used to look nice.  I just didn't expected to see them on the outside but not attached on the exterior walls:

Well, it is used as a decoration but I must agree: the surrounding of this lantern need improvement!
So, now the option of decoration open something new.  I guess it is like candles.  Candles were needed to get light inside the house.  Now, it is seen as something romantic and intimate.  Lantern were used for the exterior and now, it enhance the lawn.

Upgrating and originality

This place (a mud room, I guess) had been upgraded and it's look better, well, better organized.  It is a working place with a working door.

Already, I can see a brighter room from the door.

This room is a bit bigger and I like the way it is done.  Everything can be neatly placed.  I doubt it will be showned in magazine.  This turn out nicely and it is something concrete that is not shown anywhere.  Really down to earth and without fanfare.  People who are doing it for themselves.  No decorating professional.  I don't know where the inspiration had come from but it was well executed.

Oak Power

It is amazing how big bulky and majestic oak start so small and transform into majesty under our eyes.  Of course, those two trees still need some maturation.  They are on the right track and on the right place.
